Media and publications

FAAMI undertakes the following

Television and Radio Outreach: A television and radio program titled ‘God and Your Family’ was started in 2000 to educate, admonish, and bring restoration and reconciliation to families.

Word Calendar Publication: A mini handbook of God’s word for each day of the year is currently been published for individual or family devotions.

Mercy missions

FAAMI seeks to minister to both the spiritual and the physical needs of families. The following are ways the ministry is currently involved in uplifting the lives of families

The FAAMI Scholarship Scheme

Education is crucial for knowledge and development, but many poor families struggle to afford it. This scheme provides educational opportunities for underprivileged children, including those from widows, orphans, and missionary families. It covers nursery, primary, and secondary levels of education.

Widows Support and Empowerment

We aim to support impoverished widows and their children by providing necessities like food, clothes, and regular financial assistance. Our ultimate goal is to empower these widows to establish small-scale businesses, fostering self-reliance and economic independence.

Adult Education Program for Basic Hausa & Basic English

With an affordable fee of ₦2,000 Non-widows and ₦1500 Widows per term per pupil for the Hausa and English Basic Program. The venue of the programme is at Rhema Living Word Church (Sunday School Building) Ungwan Romi.

Future plans

As our work grow and expands, we are trusting God for the following

Equipment needed will include furniture, air conditioners, film projectors, musical equipment, computers, refrigerators, sewing and knitting machines, and more.

Recording studios and equipment for our television and radio programs are currently produced in makeshift studios. We are trusting God for equipped radio and television studios.

Printing press: due to the importance of the printed materials in information dissemination, we hope to have a fully equipped printing press where all publications will be published for the actualization of our vision.

The purchase of land and the building of a FAAMI Headquarters and Secretariat. Within this we hope to have a Vocational Centre to train and equip widows and poor women in various economically viable ventures like sewing, knitting, catering which will make them self-reliant.
